Paris Descartes University, France, seeks to appoint a permanent Associate Professor in Experimental Social Psychology/Social Cognition starting September 1, 2018.

Research will be conducted within the Laboratory of Social Psychology: Threat & Society. The Laboratory is active in the areas of social cognition, social regulation, collective processes. Candidates should have a high-level publication record and be able to generate a high-quality research program (especially basic research). International experience (postdoc) would be an asset.

Teaching will take place within the Psychology Department of Paris Descartes University, at the Bachelor and Master levels. Supervision of Master students is expected, and there are regularly possibilities for co-supervision of Ph.D. students. As courses are taught in French (and some in English), candidates are expected to have some notions of French language as well as the motivation to perfect their language skills.
