Dear members,

Please note there are some important changes in the EASP grant scheme, which will already apply to the upcoming deadline for applications of December 30 2015.

First, we are happy to announce that it is now possible to apply for a 1000 EUR grant to conduct pre-registered research. Postgraduate and full members of the association who have received an IPA (in principle acceptance) from a peer reviewed journal such as (but not exclusively) CRSP, can apply for this grant.

Second, given the success of the extra-ordinary call for applications for grants to fund research or travel for full members, the EC decided that travel and seedcorn grants are now structurally open to full members. We would like to emphasize that members from countries/departments which have only limited access to travel funds and whose infrastructure or training facilities are less well developed than elsewhere are especially encouraged to apply.

Third, as travel costs are increasing the EC decided to raise the amount for travel grants up to 1000 EUR.

With these changes we hope to stimulate research, international networking and collaborations for all members.
