Preconference of the Society for European Social and Affective Neuroscience (ESAN)
Deadline: June 1, 2017
The Society for European Social and Affective Neuroscience (ESAN) will offer a one-day pre-conference on 4 July 2017 in conjunction with the EASP General Meeting 2017.
This pre-conference will discuss how combining traditional measures of psychological investigation (such as questionnaires and reaction time tasks) with neuroscientific methods of inquiry (such as fMRI or EEG) can enhance the understanding of complex social phenomena.
The program includes research talks by social neuroscientists (i.e., David Amodio, Belle Derks, Grit Hein, and Alan Sanfey) as well as social psychologists (i.e., Stefan Stuermer, Soledad de Lemus, Ori Weisel, and Kerry Kawakami).
It will be moderated by Lotte van Dillen (Leiden University, The Netherlands), Lasana Harris (University College London, England), Gayannee Kedia (University of Graz, Austria), Gert-Jan Lelieveld (Leiden University, The Netherlands), and Susanne Quadflieg (University of Bristol, England).
The deadline to register is 1st June.
