Starting from October 2022 the Université Libre de Bruxelles, offers a full-time doctoral position in Leadership impact in modern organizations.
This doctoral project is part of a larger project on leadership impact in modern organizations. The successful candidate has a strong background in social and organizational psychology as well as in research methods. In close alignment with the research project, the candidate will be required to assist in teaching three master level courses: Organizational Behavior and Leadership, Research Methods, and Negotiation.
The doctoral candidate will be a member of Center for Social and Cultural Psychology (Faculté de Sciences Psychologiques et de l’Education) and Center Emile Bernheim (Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management), Université libre de Bruxelles.
Candidates must hold (or anticipate receiving very soon) a master’s degree in psychology and /or organizational behavior and demonstrate expertise and interest in leadership, organizations, management etc.
Candidates should have strong expertise in using various quantitative research methods (e.g., surveys and experimental methods) to study the impact of leadership in modern organizations. A good level of English is required.
The full-time doctoral position is available from October 2022 onwards.
The initial duration of the position is 1 year, renewable for 3 or 5 more years if the progress of the project is significant. After one year, the doctoral student will be encouraged to apply for alternative funding (FNRS, Innoviris etc.).
