The Division of Psychology, Sociology and Education at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, is seeking to appoint a part-time lecturer in Psychology to teach at all levels within the undergraduate and postgraduate curricula.

The successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the undergraduate teaching portfolio in Psychology, including our BPS Accredited B.Sc. (Hons) Psychology programme. The successful candidate will be a Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and have knowledge of BPS standards and accreditation procedures. The successful applicant will, in addition, have the opportunity to contribute to postgraduate teaching and supervision.

Applicants should have, or be working towards completion of a relevant, research-focussed PhD / Doctoral qualification in Psychology. They must have experience of learning, teaching and assessment in social psychology and should be able to contribute to teaching in at least one additional substantive area.

Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the quality of our teaching and learning activities within our programmes, demonstrate ambition to develop a research portfolio and be committed to the enhancement of the Division in line with the University’s strategic plans.
