Goethe University Frankfurt am Main invites applications for the position of a Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Social Psychology for the duration of four years (with the possibility of an extension, funding provided). The position will be part of the newly founded Goethe Leadership Centre – Centre of Advanced Studies (GLC), funded by the German Research Foundation under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Rolf van Dick and Prof. Dr. Michael Kosfeld.

The applicant is expected to have made internationally recognized contributions in the areas of Social and/ or Work & Organizational Psychology, with a focus on social identity and leadership reflected by international publications and a PhD in these areas.

Goethe University Frankfurt am Main invites applications for the position of a Post-Doctoral Researcher (m/f/d)
(E 13 TV-G-U) at the earliest opportunity in the Department of Social Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology and Sports Sciences for the duration of four years (with the possibility of an extension, funding provided). The salary grade is based on the job characteristics of the collective agreement applicable to Goethe University (TV-G-U).
The position will be part of the newly founded Goethe Leadership Centre – Centre of Advanced Studies (GLC), funded by the German Research Foundation under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Rolf van Dick and Prof. Dr. Michael Kosfeld.

The applicant is expected to have made internationally recognized contributions in the areas of Social and/ or Work & Organizational Psychology, with a focus on social identity and leadership reflected by international publications and a PhD in these areas.

The position will play a central role in the GLC. The postdoctoral researcher is expected to
• contribute to the planning, execution, and analysis of the Center's main study (an international, intercultural study with quantitative and qualitative elements)
• development of an independent research profile (through the planning, execution, and analysis of one's own studies)
• publish in international peer-reviewed journals
• participate in all core Centre activities (i.e., involvement in the selection of and collaboration with fellows, co-organization of the weekly research meetings, co-organization of the annual workshops and biennial conferences, including the active assumption of roles such as symposium chair, presentations, etc.)
• contribute to the Centre's public outreach (through collaboration with journalists, media, and the Giersch Museum of Goethe University)
• play an active role in preparing the renewal application for the DFG-funded Research

There is no teaching obligation, but successful candidates are invited to teach up to one course per semester. Teaching in English is possible.

Applicants are expected to show outstanding commitment to research. Additionally, the requirements for employment are:
• A completed university degree in psychology (Bachelor and Master or equivalent)
• A completed PhD
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Very good statistical skills (e.g. R, Mplus)
• Very good knowledge of planning, implementing and evaluating complex research projects
• Skills in organising workshops/conferences
• Communication skills within and outside academia
