The Philosophical Moral Psychology Lab is seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant/Lab Manager. The successful applicant will have an undergraduate or Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field. The position is ideal for candidates seeking to gain valuable research experience before applying to PhD study.

Reporting to Dr Joanna Demaree-Cotton, the post holder will manage and support research activities in the Philosophical Moral Psychology Lab within the Uehiro Oxford Institute.

The lab collaborates with researchers in philosophy, psychology and related disciplines to investigate the psychological processes that shape moral intuitions, moral agency, and ethical concepts, with an eye to contributing to substantive normative debates in philosophical ethics.
