Dear EASP members,

We are pleased to invite you to submit contributions to the special issue “Bridging divides: Digital tools for fostering inclusion, equality, and intergroup harmony”.

The aim of this special issue is to understand when, how, and why digital tools can be employed to foster positive intergroup outcomes and improve the community well-being, without excluding critical perspectives on their potential negative implications.

We welcome papers addressing a broad range of topics related to intergroup relations in the context of digital environments. Topics include but are not limited to:
· The development and evaluation of digital interventions aimed at fostering positive societal outcomes among individuals and communities
· The nature, dynamics, and consequences of strategies like intergroup contact in online settings
· The role of digital environments in mobilizing collective action aimed to social equality, enabling the development of activist identities, empowering marginalized groups, and promoting intergroup solidarity
