Dear colleagues,
it is our pleasure to announce our preconference on "Belief in conspiracy theories: New insights and current challenges", which will be held prior to the EASP General Meeting on June 30th 2023 in Krakow.
This preconference provides a platform for scientific exchange about new developments and challenges that social psychological research on conspiracy beliefs is facing.
We are happy that Prof Michal Bilewicz (University of Warsaw) accepted our invitation to hold a keynote on "The Role of Trauma in Conspiracy Beliefs". Moreover, there will be a round-table discussion on "Conspiracy Beliefs vs. Conspiracy Mentality".
If you would like to present your work in a talk at the preconference, please submit an abstract before March 15th 2023 here: https://socialprocesseslab.iwm-tuebingen.de/easp-general-meeting. On this website, you will also find more details.
More information on the possibility to participate as listener at the preconference will be announced after submissions have been evaluated.
Kind regards,
Kevin Winter, Lotte Pummerer, & Kai Sassenberg
