Call for unpublished data on LGBTQA+ resilience

16.03.2023, by Media Account in call for papers

Deadline: 1st of May, 2023

Dear Colleagues,

We are conducting a systematic literature review and meta-analysis of resilience in LGBTQA+ individuals and their communities. We are now calling for any unpublished data (conference posters, dissertations, in press papers, etc) to include in our review.

For inclusion in our systematic review, we are seeking data:

  • from comparative studies that either compare resilience scores between LGBTQA+ individuals and cis-heterosexual individuals or that compare resilience scores between LGBTQA+ groups (e.g., levels of resilience for gay men compared to lesbians).
  • from studies that assess the relationship between resilience and other variables.

For this project, we are not including intervention studies (however, we are interested in baseline data from intervention studies that meet either of the above criteria).

Finally, we note that resilience has been operationalised and measured in a variety of ways – as such we are interested in any data that reports on resilience in whichever way it has been defined or measured by the study authors.

If you have any unpublished data that fits the criteria listed above (e.g., means/SDs for group comparisons, and/or Pearson’s r for correlations), we would love hear from you - please send us an email (Joel.Anderson@acu.edu.au or Jordan.Hinton@myacu.edu.au) by the 1st of May, 2023.

With thanks,
