Deadlines: 13 June, 2025 (awards) and 26 September, 2025 (grants)
Dear EASP Colleagues:
The International Society for Self and Identity (ISSI) (http://www.issiweb.org/) is now accepting nominations for (a) its 2025 Distinguished Lifetime Career Award, and (b) its 2025 Outstanding Early Career Award. It is also accepting applications for research grant funding provided by (c) its 2025 Mini-research Grant Program. The deadline for career award nominations is Friday June 13, 2025, and the deadline for grant applications is Friday September 26, 2025. For full details about ISSI and about its award and grant programs go to: http://www.issiweb.org/.
ISSI is a scholarly association dedicated to promoting the scientific study of the human self. Society members come from all over the globe, representing many different academic and professional disciplines, and sharing an interest in cognitive, emotional, and behavioral processes related to the self-system. These processes include the ability for people to think consciously about themselves, to form images and concepts of what they are like, to evaluate their characteristics and capabilities, to plan deliberately for the future, to worry about how they are being perceived by others, and to direct their own behavior in line with personal standards. Because this ability to self-reflect has important implications for understanding behavior, the self has emerged as a central focus of theory and research in many domains of social and behavioral science.
