Dear all,

We organise a three-day EASP small group meeting on prefigurative politics at the University of Klagenfurt, Austria (9-11 September, 2026). The meeting aims to encourage integration of prefigurative politics and social psychological research of societal transformation (e.g., collective action). Among other things, this involves discussing the need to incorporate the organic emergence of prefiguration, its enduring nature, and the inclusion of activists as co-producers of knowledge. Please feel free to disseminate the flyer (attached).

The meeting will be free of charge. Limited funding for scholars who do not have their own funding will be available. More info and a detailed call to come in January 2026. If you have any questions beforehand, don't hesitate to reach out.

Best wishes,
Frank Eckerle, Tijana Karić, Helen Landmann, Edward Clarke, Mete Sefa Uysal, David Clarke
