The European Journal of Social Psychology invites early career researchers—such as senior graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, tenure-track assistant professors, and early career lecturers—to apply for the role of “Junior Consulting Editor” on our Editorial Board.

These junior scholars will contribute as full Editorial Board members, primarily by reviewing manuscripts submitted to EJSP. We believe that early career researchers often bring exceptional attention to detail and fresh perspectives to the review process. While we do not expect Junior Consulting Editors to have the same depth of experience as more senior scholars, we are committed to supporting their professional development. Associate Editors will offer feedback on reviews and consider these perspectives when making decisions on manuscripts.

Application Criteria

  • Applicants must be at least two years into their doctoral studies.
  • Applicants should have at least two peer-reviewed publications (either published or accepted).

We also seek diverse perspectives, including international representation. Applicants should describe why they are interested in this developmental role, how they hope to grow from it, and their particular interest in contributing to EJSP.
