Dashamir Bërxulli

Dr. Dashamir Bërxulli is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Prishtina, Kosovo. He teaches social psychology, personality psychology, psychotherapy, and counseling courses. Dr. Bërxulli earned his PhD from Ludwig Maximilians University and is recognized as a distinguished expert in Kosovo's higher education sector. From January 2020 to December 2021, he served as a member of the Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE) panel for Kosovo, operating under the auspices of the Kosovo Erasmus+ Office. Since June 2018, he has been an Expert Member of social sciences on the Diploma Recognition State Council (NARIC Kosova), which is part of the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation of the Government of Kosovo.

Throughout his professional career, he has held several leadership roles at the University of Prishtina, including Head of the Department of Psychology from 2008 to 2012, Vice-Dean of Teaching and Student Affairs at the Faculty of Philosophy from 2012 to 2018, and Vice-Rector of International Affairs from 2018 to 2020. He currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy for the term from 2020 to 2024. Between March and May 2013, Dr. Bërxulli was one of the key officials involved in developing the current Strategic Plan for the University of Prishtina, which outlines objectives for 2023 to 2025. He has participated in various projects, notably as the Coordinator for the University of Prishtina on the Quality Development of International Cooperation and Project Management (QUADIC), a CBHE Project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission, from January 2020 to August 2023. Additionally, he was part of a research team focused on designing an effective and cost-efficient intervention for patients with psychotic disorders in low- and middle-income countries in Southeastern Europe (IMPULSE), financed by the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation ‘Horizon 2020' from April 2018 to April 2021. Dr. Bërxulli has authored over 30 publications in both national and international journals and actively participates in lectures, media appearances, and collaborations with various local and international institutions and organizations.
