03.06.2026, by Media Account
Submission deadline: 15 September 2026
The European Association of Social Psychology invites proposals from members interested in organizing a future EASP Summer School.
The EASP Summer School is a flagship training initiative designed to support the development of doctoral students in social psychology. It provides high-level teaching, mentoring, and opportunities for scientific exchange within an international and collaborative environment.
Organizing an EASP Summer School is both a significant commitment and a highly rewarding experience. It offers the opportunity to shape the training of the next generation of social psychologists, strengthen international networks, and enhance the visibility of social psychology within the host country and institution.
The Summer School typically consists of a 10- to 14-day in-person program, organized around approximately five thematic workstreams, each covering complementary areas of social psychology.
Eligibility
Proposals must be submitted by:
• A local organizing team composed of EASP members
• A designated lead organizer responsible for coordination
The organizing team should demonstrate experience in academic coordination.
Collaboration with EASP
The selected organizers will work in close collaboration with the EASP Executive Committee. In particular, the scientific workstream themes and invited lecturers will be further developed jointly with EASP following an initial proposal.
The Executive Committee approves the final program and teachers and ensures alignment with EASP standards and mission.
The Executive Committee also organize a short online training session with teacher and organizers before the event to align the event with EASP standards, mission and code of conduct.
After the event, the Executive Committee will send an evaluation form to both teachers and students involved.
Funding
EASP provides substantial financial support for the Summer School (approximately €50,000).
