Dear colleagues,

We hope this email finds you well. We are currently conducting a meta-analysis focusing on relations between climate emotions and pro-environmental behavior.

While we are already far along in the meta-analytical process (i.e., completion of exhaustive database and conference proceedings search; development of inclusion criteria and coding protocol; coding of the literature), we are now reaching out to the community to request any unpublished manuscripts and data on the topic (e.g., dissertations, preprints, work currently under revision or in press, unpublished data sets).

Specifically, we are looking for:

correlational studies (i.e., cross-sectional, longitudinal designs, diary studies) and experimental studies
that explore relationships between climate emotions (i.e., emotions that are elicited by the climate crisis and climate change consequences, as well as climate relevant behaviors of oneself and others such as anxiety, anger, hope, guilt, and pride)
and pro-environmental intentions and behavior (i.e., behavior that benefits the environment directly or indirectly, for example resource conservation, food choices, sustainable transportation, policy support, donations to environmental groups, environmental activism, or pro-environmental behavior at work)
in adult populations.

If you have unpublished manuscripts or data that match the above criteria and that you are willing to contribute to our meta-analysis, please contact us at clara.kuehner@uni-leipzig.de with a description of your study and details on the operationalization of both climate emotions and pro-environmental behavior.

We will use your data exclusively for the intended purpose of this meta-analysis.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could reach out to us by June 19th.
