04.12.2025, by Media Account

Submission deadline: 05 January, 2026

We are excited to announce the Morals, Values, and Norms in Intergroup Processes pre-conference at the EASP General Meeting in Strasbourg, which will be held on the 30/06/26.

Background and Scope

Contemporary intergroup conflicts are increasingly interpreted through a moral lens. Morality and values shape how people perceive, judge, and respond to ingroups and outgroups. This preconference brings together scholars examining how morals, values, and norms influence intergroup attitudes, conflict, reconciliation, and identity. The preconference will include a mix of keynote talks, thematic presentations, and interactive roundtables.

Keynote speakers

Keynote talks will be given by: Sabina Čehajić-Clancy (Stockholm University), Naomi Ellemers (Utrecht University), and Lukas Wolf (University of Bath).

Submissions

We are accepting proposals for 15-minute talks or a roundtable discussion from all career stages. For more information visit our website: https://adiamit.wixsite.com/easp2026morals
