SPSP joint summer school - opportunity for EASP members
We are inviting talented and motivated PhD students who would like to attend a summer school in social and personality psychology to apply to the 2025 Summer Institute for Social and Personality Psychology (SISPP).
EASP and SPSP agreed to offer 5 seats to the summer school of the other institution, respectively. In July 2024, 5 students selected by SPSP joined our summer school in Košice, Slovakia. Now the opportunity to participate in the 2025 SPSP summer school arises for EASP members.
SISPP is a unique opportunity for 100 pre-doctoral psychology students to immerse themselves in a course taught by renown instructors as well as take statistics and methodology workshops.
Students also participate in group collaboration through in-depth workshops and make lifelong connections with experts while expanding their understanding of social and personality psychology. SISPP alumni are now prevalent across academia as well as in government roles and at private companies.
2025 SISPP takes place at Northwestern University. and is scheduled for July, with students and instructors arriving Sunday, July 13, 2025, and departing on Saturday, July 25, 2025.
The fee is $250USD, which covers tuition, housing in university accommodations (shared bedroom, shared bathroom), and meals. Students are responsible for their travel to and from SISPP.
EASP is supporting travel costs with up to 750€ per student.
Application procedure:
Applicants must be members of EASP in good standing. Priority will be given to applicants who have not previously attended the EASP Summer School or who are not selected for the upcoming edition in Kent.
