Advances in Cultural Psychology SPSP Pre-Conference

Join us at the in-person Advances in Cultural Psychology Pre-Conference (https://spsp.org/events/annual-convention/preconferences/advances-in-cultural-psychology) at the next Society for Personality and Social Psychology annual conference on Thurs., Feb. 7, 2024, in San Diego.

2024 Theme: Threats! Danger! Death!

Does cultural psychology have a replication crisis? Why do some hazards kill people in some cultures and make people healthier in other cultures? How is it that threats lead to honor violence in some cultures and inflated narcissism in others? Join us for the dangerous side of cultural psychology and two lightning rounds of data blitz talks.

Share your research! Apply now to share your research as a poster or in a 5-minute data blitz talk. Graduate students, postdocs, and assistant or associate professors (without tenure) are welcome to apply at https://spsp.wufoo.com/forms/2024-preconference-submission-portal/. Note that all presenters are expected to attend the conference in person.

Submissions for the data blitz and poster session are now open through October 18, 2023, 11:59 pm Pacific Time, through the SPSP submission portal: https://spsp.wufoo.com/forms/2024-preconference-submission-portal/.

No single-presenter talks: Although the SPSP website gives an option for single presenter talks, our pre-conference will NOT feature any of these. So please don’t select this option.
