The Executive Committee is very happy to announce the results of the selection procedure for the next chief editors of the European Journal of Social Psychology. EJSP has been serving as the association's primary journal ifor high quality, peer reviewed, original research in all areas of social psychology for more than 50 years (since 1971). This tradition has been carried on by the current editors, Thomas Morton, Masi Noor, and Caterina Suitner, whose 3-year term will end at the end of 2023. We are very happy to have been able to secure a fantastic team of new chief editors. From January 1st, 2024, on, Marco Brambilla (Milano), Kim Peters (Exeter), and Kai Epstude (Groningen) will serve as new editors in chief.

"We’re delighted to become the next editors of EJSP. In this role, we aim to build on the current team’s achievements in the promotion of diversity in the editorial team (incl. associate editors and consulting editors) and as a topic of research. We hope to make EJSP the platform for a uniquely European perspective on diversity. We also aim to review journal processes with an eye to innovations that could reduce the burden on reviewers and decrease the time to publication. Finally, we are committed to supporting the publication of open and transparent research. In the coming months, we will assemble the editorial team to help us to pursue these aims. We’re honored to be entrusted by the Executive Committee with the Co-Editorship of EJSP."
