** Opportunity for EASP postgraduate members **

We are inviting talented and motivated PhD students who would like to attend the Society of Australasian Social Psychologists’ Summer School in social psychology.

The 2023 SASP Summer School programme will be held on campus at St Hilda’s College at the University of Melbourne from Monday November 27th – Thursday November 30th, 2023 in Parkville, Melbourne. Note that these dates are immediately after the SASP/ACPID conference in Noosa that you are also welcome to join.

The Summer School involves 3 teaching streams. Please see the link below for information about the streams and teaching faculty for the 2023 programme.

EASP and SASP have agreed to offer 3 places at the SASP Summer School to EASP postgraduate members, one for each stream.

The SASP Summer School is a fantastic opportunity for postgraduate students from Australia, New Zealand, and overseas to further their knowledge and experience in social psychology and to establish strong networks with academics and postgraduate students in the area. Participants will expand their knowledge of social psychological theory and research through instruction and supervision from senior social psychologists drawn from Australia, New Zealand and the rest of the world, and extend research and team working skills through the design of novel research with oversight from instructors.

The cost for the Summer School is $390AUD per student. This cost includes all meals during the formal programme (breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday – Wednesday; breakfast and lunch on Thursday) as well as accommodation from Sunday night – Wednesday night.

EASP will support travel costs of up to 1000€ per student.

Application procedure:

All applications should be sent directly to EASP Meetings Officer Claudia Manzi (claudia.manzi@unicatt.it) before 11:59 PM PT on September 4, 2023 and include:
