Dear EASP members,

We are happy to announce the next Social Cognition Network (ESCON) Transfer of Knowledge Conference will be held in Nijmegen (the Netherlands), August 28th-30th, 2023!

ESCON’s main aims are to promote European research collaboration in social cognition and to help the transfer of knowledge from senior researchers to younger ones. The annual conferences are particularly instrumental for building cutting-edge collaborative research programs as well as for the training, promotion, and networking of junior researchers.

Everyone who self-identifies as a social cognition researcher is encouraged to submit their work for presentation. The deadline for the submission of your contribution is April 14th, 2023. PhD candidates developing cutting-edge research are encouraged to apply for the Best Paper Award (see the link in the submission portal). Information about conference registration will follow. For now, please save the date!

ESCON is currently without a funding program. This means that in order to make ESCON 2023 possible, we are asking for a participation fee of € 190,- for juniors (Ph.D. students) and € 250,- for seniors (post-docs and professors).

Registration fees will include lunch (Monday-Wednesday), a social program on Monday and a conference dinner. Attendees are asked to self-organize their accommodations.
