A unique opportunity to work at the intersection of social psychological research and government policy in Canberra, Australia

Hi EASP community,

We currently have four research-focused positions available at the Australian National University (ANU), all working on a major new collaboration between ANU (led by Kate Reynolds and Tegan Cruwys) and government (the Australian Capital Territory) on the Wellbeing Framework. This project seeks to link large datasets across multiple agencies to tackle big questions about how policy can support wellbeing, particularly for young people.

These roles would particularly suit someone with a background of using social psychological theory to study health or education, experience managing big datasets, and/or partnering with external stakeholders in their research.

We're looking to appoint an Academic Lead (Level B/C) for three years to provide day-to-day leadership of the project, and two research fellows (Level A/B) one of whom will focus on systematic reviews and reporting, and the other will focus on data preparation and analysis. Finally, we are looking for a Research Officer to support the team (this role could be part-time for the right applicant).

Research Officer: https://jobs.anu.edu.au/jobs/research-officer-canberra-act-act-australia-4573c963-9649-405b-b5c2-cb2cd54cb42a

The successful applicants will join the Health and Identity Lab at ANU, which includes Tegan Cruwys, Mark Stevens, Olivia Evans, Daniel Skorich, Joanne Rathbone, Haochen Zhou and Charlie Crimston (and our students).

Please get in touch with Tegan (tegan.cruwys@anu.edu.au) if you have any questions - applications for all positions are due mid-November.
