At the Faculty of Psychology, the University of Vienna seeks to appoint a Full Professor of Work and Organizational Psychology

The position:

The goal of this professorship is research and teaching in the field of work and organizational psychology. Complementarity to the existing professorships at the faculty is expected. The empirical research profile should be compatible in terms of content and methodology with the thematic area of "Occupational, Economic, and Social Psychology" and with other thematic areas of the faculty as a whole. We welcome applications from all areas of work and organizational psychology, especially those related to "Organizational Behavior". A wide methodological breadth is desired. The Faculty of Psychology supports transparent research with open data, open material, and preregistration. Applicants are therefore asked to describe the ways in which they have already pursued and plan to pursue these goals.

The professorship represents the discipline in both research and teaching (at all curricular levels: Bachelor, Master, Doctorate).

Your academic profile:

• Doctoral degree/PhD
• Outstanding research achievements, excellent publication and funding record, international reputation
• Proven leadership qualities
• Experience in designing and managing large research projects
• Enthusiasm for excellent teaching and supervision at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral level
• Willingness to take on organisational and administrative responsibilities within the Faculty and/or the University

The University of Vienna expects the successful candidate to acquire, within three years, proficiency in German sufficient for teaching in bachelor’s programmes and for participation in university committees.
