PICR Lab, IDC Herzliya, Israel
Application deadline: June 1st, 2019 +/-
Full-time Ph.D. student and Postdoc positions are available in the "Psychology of Intergroup Conflict and Reconciliation" lab, headed by Prof. Eran Halperin, in close collaboration with Dr. Yoni Levy and Prof. Mikko Sams. The position is affiliated with the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya (Israel), the Hebrew University (Israel) and Aalto University (Finland). Candidates with experience or interest in conducting interdiciplinary human neuroimaging are encouraged to apply.
The position is part of two externally funded projects, highly interdisciplinary in their nature: human neuroscience, social and political psychology, and media. The projects aim to study political media-news perception on intergroup issues, and novel media venues (i.e., virtual-reality) for supporting intergroup conflict resolution.
Full-time funding for the position is available for two years with the option to examine extension for a 3rd and a 4th year. The position may cover expenses to participate in national/international conferences and may include short collaborative visits in Finland, which could involve training in research methods, technology and in advanced neuroimaging.
For applications or inquiries, candidates are invited to email Dr. Yoni Levy (firstname.lastname@example.org) by June 1st 2019 or shortly after. Applications need to include a motivation letter, CV, and the contact details of two academic references.
