Post-doc (3y) and PhD Position (4y) in Computational Political Communication Research

Applications are invited for a post-doc (initially 3 years, until September 4th) as well as a PhD position (4 years, until August 14) at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, Germany

The project "SCOPE - Uncertainty, Misinformation, and Polarization: Societal Communication in Times of Permacrisis" (rptu.de/s/omsxck), which is funded by the Rhineland-Palatinate Research Initiative and is jointly conducted by the departments of Political Communication, Psychology, Environmental Sciences, and Informatics, is seeking both a postdoctoral researcher as well as a PhD student (m/f/d) to be working in the field of computational political communication. The position is assigned to the research group of Prof. Dr. Michaela Maier (RPTU in Landau).

We are looking for a person with a clear scientific qualification goal, which is pursued with motivation within this framework. We offer the integration into a dynamic, highly motivated, interdisciplinary research group, which provides both opportunities for collaboration and exchange, as well as the freedom to develop own ideas.
