We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our research team at the University of Campania as a Research Fellow. The position involves working on a project focusing on "Conspiracy Beliefs Relating to LGBTQ+ People".

Project Overview:
The project aims to explore conspiracy beliefs through explicit and implicit methodologies, adopting both Ingroup and Outgroup perspectives.
Conspiracy beliefs (CB) represent simplified explanations of complex events driven by secretive groups, with significant social and health consequences. Existing research has largely overlooked CBs related to LGBTQ+ individuals. These beliefs often propagate the notion of a "Gay Lobby" seeking to spread homosexuality, influence educational institutions, disrupt the natural order, and enforce a singular ideology based on "Gender Theory". Such beliefs are employed to hinder LGBTQ+ rights, anti-discrimination policies, and civil liberties in Italy and Europe.

Project Goals:
Our project seeks to construct and validate measures related to CBs about LGBTQ+ individuals. We aim to investigate the origins of these beliefs and analyze their consequences using behavioral tools. The ultimate goal is to mitigate the negative impact of these beliefs on society.

Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Social Psychology or a related field.

Skills:
Strong analytical and communication skills.
A knowledge, even at a basic level, in both explicit and implicit research methodologies of social cognition.
Research experience in conspiracy beliefs and LGBTQ+ studies will be considered a plus.
Experience in programming and data analysis skills are highly desirable.

If you are passionate about advancing knowledge in this crucial area and contributing to positive social change, we encourage you to apply.
