Call for Special Issue Proposals
Journal of Experimental Social Psychology (JESP); Deadline for submission of proposals: May 31st, 2020
The Journal of Experimental Social Psychology (JESP) is now accepting proposals for one or more open-call, peer-reviewed Special Issues (8-16 articles) or Special Sections (4-7 articles) to be published in 2021. This call follows our successful 2018 call for Special Issues in which three proposals of equal merit were accepted and appeared in 2019-2020. Interested Guest Editors are invited to submit proposals up to May 31, 2020.
Proposals should be compatible with JESP's mission to report, in particular, experimental social psychology research. Depending on the topic, a Special Issue's requested articles can be reports of original empirical findings (including replications and Registered Reports), theoretical, methodological, integrative (e.g., meta-analysis), or a mixture of these.
Proposals will be reviewed by a committee of JESP Editors, and a decision made by June 15, 2020 to accept one or more Special Issues and/or Sections. We would expect Editors to publicize the call for articles shortly thereafter, with a deadline no later than December 2020, and the review process to be complete no later than August 2021.
