We are seeking two Ph.D students to conduct research at Nottingham Trent University under the supervision of Dr Tom R. Kupfer and Professor Daniel M.T. Fessler (UCLA). The research will use experiments, survey and qualitative methods to investigate whether mind-blind rules and judgements emerge when intent or person-based information is unavailable or costly to obtain. The Ph.D students will collaborate with an inter-disciplinary team on a project entitled ‘Mind-blind morality: A route to trust in high-stakes conditions’ funded by the U.S. Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR).
